|Our Device Grading Descriptions Explained|
This is an as new device with no marks or imperfections, fully refurbished and in pristine condition. This is the best condition we sell.
This device will have very light signs of use with minor scratches on the back and front. This device will be in perfect working order.
This device may have minor scratches on the housing and or LCD. There may also be a small dent on one of the corners, but no more than one. The bezels and buttons may also have scratches, the device is in perfect working order.
A device that has been clearly used, but not abused. Scratches may be detectable by touch, there may also be up to two small, minor dents on the corners.
This device may have some screen haze and possibly some LCD pixels not working. Also, may have scratches and dents in the housing, that can be detected by touch and be visible at arm’s length. This device will be fully working and offer outstanding value for money.
Erasure and Testing
All devices are wiped with the ADISA approved MobiWIPE® software and tested with state of the art electronic testing from MobiCode, checking for up to 60 possible defects.
All devices are unlocked unless specified. This means that any SIM card will work with them, on any network.

We know that many first time buyers of previously owned technology will have a concern about the quality of the device they receive.
Our in-house Quality Control Team at RueZone look to beat your expectations putting care an attention into the grading of phones before they are made available to buy. Below are the headline requirements set by our Quality Control Team when grading a phone. Unlike our competition RueZone are mobile engineering specialists, with vast amounts of experience and we look forward to you being a customer.
12 Month Warranty
RueZone offers a 12-month warranty with every handset we sell, to give you extra peace of mind in your purchase.
What is covered:
- Technical Defects
- Faults caused by poor workmanship or materials
- Faults caused by faulty parts
What is not covered:
- Customer Damage (Including accidental)
- Damage to screens, fascias and surrounds (inc. fading and discolouration)
- Water/Liquid damage
- Issues caused by third-party software
- Issues caused by unlocking your device
- Any components added since the item was originally sold to you
Your warranty will be void, if we find any evidence that the item has been opened up in any way, this includes third-party repairs. RueZone accepts no responsibility for damage which occurred when attempting to network unlock a device if it was sold to you locked to a network. We reserve the right to repair or replace any handset on a like for like basis. Full terms and conditions can be found below.
Terms and Conditions
When you return a product to us due to a defect, we will electronically test and examine the returned product. We will notify you of the outcome of the examination within a reasonable time period.
If we agree that the device is defective, we will either repair or replace on a like for like basis at our discretion. If you request a refund and the device is returned within 14 days we will process the refund due to you within 2 working days. Handsets returned by you because of an agreed defect will be refunded in full. Refunds will be reduced if you do not return all items included supplied with the handset. Charges incurred when returning devices without our knowledge or prior agreement, will not be reimbursed.
If after investigation, we establish outside of warranty faults no refund will be issued. The device may be returned to you subject to an admin and return postage charge.
All devices returned for warranty or refund claims must not have any locks or accounts active; including but not limited to iCloud, Google and Samsung accounts. Any device returned with locks or accounts in place will delay any refund.
If you receive any Device with physical damage this must be reported within 24 hours, claims made after will not be accepted. The Device must be returned to us in the state it was delivered including all packaging and accessories. We will examine all handsets before any refund is authorised.
In the event, you do not receive goods ordered from us within 3 working days. You must notify us by email within 7 working days of the date the item was dispatched.
We strive to provide excellence in customer support and service. We recognise that sometimes delays outside of our control can result in lost or delayed deliveries. We appreciate the opportunity to resolve any concerns you may have. Please contact us to resolve any issue before leaving negative feedback or opening a claim.
